Garman Builders is celebrating our 50th year by giving $50,000 back to the communities
in which we build, live, and serve. Throughout this year we will donate $5,000 each to 10 different locally based charity organizations, inviting the Garman Team to participate in various fundraising events.
Giving back to the community holds a special place of importance to the Garman family.
Our company’s success is deeply rooted in hard work and dedication, having been built on faith, generosity, and a strong work ethic. As we honor our 50th year, we want to strengthen our team and our communities through partnering with these local organizations that meet needs beyond our normal reach. We do more than build homes. We build up lives and communities.

About Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster
Mission: To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
History in their own words:
The Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster has played an integral role in the Lancaster community since 1939, providing daily programs and services to nearly 2,000 young people each year. The Club is open daily with programs that emphasize academic success, career enhancement, character and leadership development, and healthy lifestyles.
Since our inception, our mission has consistently aimed to provide youth with a safe and positive place to spend their after school hours. From a single site in the Southeast part of Lancaster City, we’re now located in neighborhoods to strategically dismantle barriers faced by the community daily. The Club now has three locations in Lancaster City, including the Ann B. Barshinger Youth Campus that includes the new McMurtrie Clubhouse and Roberto Clemente Field. In addition, we have a Clubhouse in Columbia Borough, and Community Schools at Washington and Price Elementary.
